        Norfolk Lady Titans

        09.27.25

The Norfolk Lady Titans’ Mission is to teach, develop, and provide girls in Hampton Roads the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life lessons and values such as teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, discipline, competitiveness, and confidence. Amanda Cheney is in her 11th year of coaching basketball and her 8th season as program director of the Norfolk Lady Titans, a program she proudly founded in her hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. Driven by a deep passion for youth development and equity in sports, she established the Lady Titans to help close the talent and development gap often seen in elementary and middle school girls before they reach high school. Under her leadership, the program has grown into a respected force in Hampton Roads, consistently producing players who are recognized among the top talent at their respective schools across six age groups: 5th grade through 10th grade.
